Stavis Seafoods at Seafood Expo North America 2025

Mar 31, 2025

This year's Seafood Expo North America was a standout success for Stavis Seafoods. Located in a prime spot at the front of the hall, the booth featured bold large-format fabric graphics that elevated the Stavis brand and showcased a wide range of products and capabilities.

The design, a collaboration between our U.S. and Spanish marketing teams, created an open and inviting space that was praised by attendees and industry peers alike. Our SeaTru brand Paella and Octopus Salad were sampled at a central demo counter, drawing strong interest -especially the octopus salad, which was also entered into the New Product Showcase, generating added visibility and increased booth traffic.

The addition of an extensive display case at the booth highlighted our updated packaging, tray-packing capabilities and an array of new offering under the Profand and Kefalonia brands. A variety of Profand Mic Vac and other meals were sampled and exceptionally well received.

"Our booth this year really reflected who we are -bold, innovative, and focused on quality," stated Juan Lopez Martinez, CEO of Stavis Seafoods. "The energy at the show was incredible, and the response to our products was overwhelmingly positive. We are proud of how our team represented the brand," he added.

Todd Rushing, VP of Sales, added "We walked away with strong leads, RFPs in motion, and exciting opportunities with both new buyers and long-standing customers. The booth traffic and engagement exceeded expectations."

The show welcomed an estimated 20,000 seafood professionals and featured more than 1,200 exhibiting companies from 51 countries. The expanded show floor and robust conference program underscored the events' growing importance in the global seafood industry.

New trends in AI, sustainability, and consumer behavior took center stage, and renowned macroeconomist and author Dr. Nomi Prins headlined with a timely session on global trade, energy, and economic policy, offering a cautiously optimistic forecast for the seafood industry amid shifting tariff dynamics.

Looking ahead to 2026, the Stavis team is energized by the momentum from this year's show and already planning how to elevate our presence. Building on the insights and feedback we received, we are refining our exhibit strategy to deepen connections with customers, spotlight innovation across our brands, and continue to showcasing the bold, authentic spirit of Stavis Seafoods. We are excited to return next year with an even stronger presence and new stories to tell.
