On March 13 and 14, the legal audit of the Occupational Health and Safety Department took place at Profand Zaragoza.

In March we received the visit of the students and teachers of the middle school "Virgen del Pilar".

In March we have collaborated with the Blood Donors Bank of Aragon, making a donation in our facilities in which 27 workers voluntarily wanted to contribute to this good cause.

During the month of March, the Human Resources Department (HR) has actively participated in the job fairs organized by Zaragoza Dinámica and the City Council of Utebo.

On March 20, Profand Zaragoza held the annual talk to all employees of the industrial plant. In this communication, the results of the year 2023 were presented and the new challenges for the year 2024 were explained.

From February 12 to 23 we have started a training of expert trimmers in the production line of sea bream and sea bass. Seventeen people have been trained in the morning shift and 17 people in the afternoon shift from Monday to Friday, completing the training later to the rest of the line team.

In February, Profand Zaragoza received the recognition granted by the Municipal Institute of Employment and Business Development of Zaragoza, by the hand of its Mayor, Natalia Chueca Muñoz.

During the last month, Fandiño Distribuidora completed the refurbishment of the main chamber of its facilities in Avilés.

The purpose of this refurbishment is to pass the ITE (Technical Racking Inspection), since the old racks were not in a condition to be approved, to adapt the layout of the racks to the current work system (picking), to carry out maintenance and general cleaning of the installation (floor, air curtain, evaporators, panels, antechamber protection arch, etc.).

On January 30, Profand Cambre's HR colleagues visited the facilities of ASPACE CORUÑA, an association that works to improve the quality of life of people with cerebral palsy and psychophysical disabilities, where they had the opportunity to see and participate in various activities that took place that day.

On February 27th, 28th and 29th in Vigo, a new edition of the Job Fair was held, promoted by Foro Fundamental, the University of Vigo and the Mentor Foundation. Profand is a sponsor of the Fundamental Forum and the Mentor Foundation. The latter is in charge of carrying out different trainings, such as soft skills, which the labor market demands and which university training forgets.

This year, the Health and Safety area has launched quarterly campaigns to promote a culture of health and safety at Profand's industrial plants in Vilagarcía, Cambre, Zaragoza, Consermar and Pesquera Deseado.

On January 8, a corporate notebook was given as a gift to the employees of Profand's offices in Spain. A gift that was accompanied by a card with a message of pride and motivation, with which everyone was surprised upon their arrival at the first day of work....

On January 30, a group activity was held at Profand Vilagarcía with the process and product development departments. During this day, two dynamics designed with the aim of strengthening collaboration between teams and enhance various key skills were performed.

At Profand Zaragoza we have kicked off the beginning of the medical examinations.

Last Tuesday, January 30, an emergency drill took place at Profand Cambre.

Today I would like to reflect on a year marked by multiple milestones and circumstances that in one way or another have affected the company's day-to-day operations.
