INGREDIENTS

For the gyozas:

    • 16 wafers for gyozas
    • 250g raw peeled prawns
    • Half a spring onion
    • 2cm ginger
    • 1/2 clove garlic
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • Salt
    • Chopped chives

For the sauce:

    • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 5 tablespoons rice vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

ELABORATION

For the gyozas:

    • Devein and chop the shrimp.
    • Chop the spring onion, ginger and garlic.
    • put all the ingredients in a bowl, add the soy sauce and a pinch of salt.
    • Mix with a spoon and stir until a homogeneous dough is formed.
    • Place a small portion of filling in the center of the dough. Moisten the edge with water and close forming folds.

For the sauce:

    • Mix all ingredients and set aside.

FINISH AND PRESENTATION

    • Place the gyozas in a non-stick frying pan with a tablespoon of oil and cook over medium heat until the base begins to brown.
    • Add half a glass of water, cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid and steam for 3 minutes.
    • Remove the lid and allow the water to evaporate completely.
    • Transfer to a plate, sauté and finish by sprinkling with chopped chives.
